Selama perpindahan relatif antar poros dijaga dalam toleransi yang ditentukan, kopling B akan mengoperasikan fungsi terbaik dan memiliki kerja yang lebih lama. Baut dengan mur Baut adalah bentuk pengikat berulir dengan ulir jantan eksternal yang membutuhkan ulir betina yang telah dibentuk sebelumnya yang cocok seperti mur. Baut sangat erat kaitannya dengan sekrup.
